Simply follow the sign up instructions. Login. Create an account. Verify your email address. Select the raffle to participate in, and buy your tickets. You’ll need internet connectivity, so check your wifi. Data charges may apply depending on your provider. You’ll need a valid email address and a credit card to purchase a ticket.
Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority requires participants to be in Estevan & Area at the time of purchase. So you’ll need to let our system know where you are to participate. Once you’ve bought tickets you can turn your location services off if you’d like. You can claim your prize from anywhere – but you need to purchase your tickets in Estevan & Area.
This is required so we can let you know if you’ve won. You’ll need to click on a confirmation link to get logged in. If you lose your username/password you will be able to recover it with your email. This will be very important if you win! Good luck!
EchoLotto Inc. is a Saskatchewan-based incorporated company that partners with charities to provide online raffles that will help them raise money for their cause.
Yes! EchoLotto was granted permission by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) to provide services for electronic raffles to licensed charities within the boundaries of Saskatchewan.
There are many advantages to holding your charity’s raffle through EchoLotto including:
- Most raffles are limited to selling tickets to the people in the venue it is being hosted. But with EchoLotto you can have access to more potential ticket purchasers = more funds raised for your charity.
- Electronic raffle tickets can never be lost. Several large 50/50 prizes remain unclaimed each year, because a ticket purchasers lost their ticket, or never checked to see if they won. With EchoLotto, every prize has an easily identifiable winner.
- Raffle organizers no longer need to manually keep track of tickets and cash which means ticket sale frauds become impossible, there is no risk of misplacing money or unsold tickets, and charities can monitor ticket sales grow in real time.
- SLGA approved raffles become eligible for SLGA grants at the conclusion of each raffle. These grants can be as large as $100,000.00 per year for each registered charity.
- Electronic raffles provide easy access to analytics, marketing data, and demographic reporting so you know what’s working to promote your raffle and what isn’t.
Within the province of Saskatchewan, you can apply to host a raffle if you:
- Are a registered charitable or religious entity
- Have been in existence for at least six months
If you are a charity
Contact EchoLotto and we will walk you through the application and licensing process to get your raffle up and running. It takes about 5 weeks to get all the paperwork signed, sealed and delivered. Steps along the way include getting a license through the SLGA and being set up with our payment provider but don’t worry if paperwork isn’t your thing - we are here to help.
Once the approvals are received, your raffle is set up on the EchoLotto platform your very own charity raffle website is created.
The moment your raffle is live, supporters can purchase tickets from your raffle website and funds will be deposited directly into your account.
At the conclusion of the raffle, EchoLotto’s GLI certified Random Number Generator will automatically select a winner. The charity and winner will be contacted via email. It is the responsibility of the charity to pay out the winner’s portion.
EchoLotto will also provide a summary report that the charity must submit to the SLGA.
If you are a charity supporter
The moment a raffle is live, you can register on the charity platform powered by EchoLotto and purchase tickets. Confirmation of ticket purchases will be emailed to you at the address provided during registration. You can also find your ticket numbers in your online account.
Check back at any time to see the size of the jackpot and the time remaining in the raffle.
Once the raffle is concluded, EchoLotto will automatically select a winner using our certified Random Number Generator. If you are the winner, you will be contacted at the address provided during registration. The charity will be in touch with you to pay your portion of the jackpot.
EchoLotto supports traditional percentage payout raffles (think your standard 50/50), where the winner gets a percentage of the jackpot and the charity gets the remainder.

No. EchoLotto is a service provider and is prevented by law from selling tickets directly to consumers. When you purchase a ticket on an EchoLotto platform, you are purchasing tickets directly from the charity hosting the raffle.
In the province of Saskatchewan, each charity must host their raffles on an independent site which means if you are interested in supporting more than one charity by purchasing electronic raffle tickets you will have to register multiple times
If you:
- Are in Estevan & Area during the time of the raffle
- Meet the requirements set by the charity and SLGA
- Are connected to the internet
- Have a valid credit card
At present, raffle tickets can only be purchased using a personal credit card. EchoLotto Inc. is currently pursuing other payment options and will make them available to the public as they become available to us.
As part of our certification from the SLGA, EchoLotto was required to submit our software and procedures to Gaming Laboratories International LLC., the world’s most trusted tester of gambling software. Our technology was examined by these experts and found to produce fair results over a wide variety of scenarios.
